Effect of starvation and immobilization on glutathione level and activity of glutathione enzymes in the liver and kidney of rabbits

Abstract

The study was carried out on 6-months-old male and female New Zealand rabbits. The animals were divided into 3 groups: control, 72 hours starved and 72 hours immobilized. The level of the GSH and activity of glutathione enzymes decreased after starvation and immobilization in the liver and kidney of experimental animals.
